Job summary

The Melanson Company, a Tecta America Company, in Bennington, VT, is seeking an entry level Roofer to join our field team. Under a Foreman's direction, you will assist with installation, maintenance and repair of commercial roofing systems.

Training is available; we value reliability, safety and teamwork. Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather and lift heavy materials; transportation to sites is required.

Qualifications

• Commercial roofing experience preferred but we will train the right individuals.
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs regularly, 50+ lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Follow instructions and safety guidelines with professionalism.
• Reliable transportation to and from jobsites/warehouse.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
