Job summary

Applied Medical is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician to ensure reliability and optimal performance of manufacturing equipment used to produce life-saving medical devices. The role supports safe, effective products delivered worldwide.

The candidate will perform routine PM on CNC machinery, document activities, manage parts inventory, and follow safety protocols in a fast-paced manufacturing setting in California.

Qualifications

• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrate proficiency in English (written and verbal).
• Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Showcase basic mechanical aptitude, demonstrated through performance or certifications.
• Use standard hand tools safely and effectively.
• At least 1 year of experience maintaining equipment in a manufacturing or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on CNC machinery and other manufacturing equipment according to factory requirements and established schedules.
• Execute maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, adjusting, and replacing parts to maintain equipment performance per factory recommendations.
• Document all maintenance activities accurately, including dates, tasks performed, parts used, and observations.
• Support inventory management by monitoring and replenishing spare parts and supplies used to minimize downtime.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure and compliant work environment.
