Job summary

The Clinical Research Coordinator at Mount Sinai Health System is an entry-level human subjects researcher responsible for conducting and assisting in clinical research studies under the supervision of the Principal Investigator or senior clinical research staff.

This role obtains informed consent, collects, maintains and organizes study information, and assists in preparing grant applications and regulatory documents (IRB, Grants and Contracts).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or related field preferred or equivalent research experience.
• 0–2 years of research/human subjects experience.

Responsibilities

• Conducts routine and standardized human subjects research under supervision.
• Assists with obtaining informed consent, screening, and registering patients.
• Assists in collecting, analyzing and reviewing data for publication and presentation.
• Maintains source documents and confidential subject files per policies.
• May assist in regulatory site visits and prepare grant-related documents.
• Performs other related duties.
