Job summary

CenExel is seeking a Research Assistant I to provide direct support to Clinical Research Coordinators in achieving protocol-specific study goals. You will maintain accurate patient charts and assist with visits in a compliant, patient‑focused environment.

Under moderate supervision, you will perform data entry, coordinate sample handling, and help prepare source documents while adhering to ICH/GCP guidelines and site policies. Bilingual English/Spanish communication is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Excellent computer skills and ability to use common office equipment.
• Strong skills in organization and record maintenance.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
• Ability to interpret and apply guidelines and procedures.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain patient charts for studies.
• Prepare participant visits per CRC schedule with accurate source documents and materials.
• Maintain inventory of study supplies (lab kits, assessments, materials).
• Perform data entry and resolve CRFs queries per sponsor timelines.
• Conduct assessments (e.g., blood pressure, urine collection).
• Communicate with participants, caregivers, vendors, and labs as needed.
• Assist Coordinators with scheduling, copying, and clerical tasks.
• Support monitoring visits and daily CRC duties per study requirements.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.
