Nephron Pharmaceuticals Corporation in West Columbia, SC seeks an entry-level Microbiology Environmental Monitoring Technician I to monitor air quality, water for injection (WFI) sampling, and personnel in the manufacturing areas. The role emphasizes aseptic technique and cGMP compliance.

Youll support EM leads and management, perform data entry, and help with environmental projects; 12-hour rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science degree minimum; Bachelor’s degree with a science background preferred.
• Experience in pharmaceutical industry or clinical background with cGMP preferred.
• Lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor environment, air quality, and personnel samples in production areas.
• Enumerate environmental monitoring samples.
• Complete daily sampling for WFI system program.
• Maintain aseptic technique in cleanrooms.
• Record data and complete forms accurately.
• Assist EM leads, supervisors and management as directed.
• Operate the continuous Particle Measuring System.
• Review work for errors and GDP issues.
• Record and track samples using MODA per procedure.
