Job summary

Scottsdale Unified School District seeks an entry-level Paraprofessional Aide to support certified teachers in daily classroom activities. You will assist with instructional tasks, monitor students, help with materials, and support cleaning and organization in the classroom.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain First Aid/CPR certification within 30 days; valid DPS Arizona FPCC clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assists teacher by helping with classroom instruction and supervising children during activities.
• Monitors children’s behavior inside and outside the classroom.
• Prepares materials and homework folders; assists with cleanup and related tasks.
• Creates bulletin boards and maintains supplies; contacts parents as needed.
• Attends meetings and in-service trainings; performs other duties as assigned.
