Job summary

Ayres Associates in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Transportation Civil Engineer to join our employee-owned firm. You will perform design engineering using AutoCAD and Civil 3D under PM supervision, and assist with construction observation and project documentation. This entry-level to 4-year role requires a B.S.

in civil engineering, a valid driver’s license, and a collaborative, self-motivated approach. FE exam or plan to take FE is preferred; experience with highway or bridge projects is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Entry level to 4 years of related engineering experience.
  • Self-motivated individual who works well in a team environment.
  • A valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Perform design engineering duties including use of AutoCAD and Civil 3D under supervision of the Project Manager.
  • Assist with construction observation/administration under supervision of Project Construction Leader.
  • Prepare design documents including project reports, quantity calculations, plans production, and specifications.
  • Build effective working relationships with other employees and clients.
  • Coordinate with public agencies and attend project meetings under supervision of the Project Manager.

On any given day, you'll:

Perform design engineering duties including the use of AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D for the design of projects under the supervision of the Project Manager

Assist with construction observation/administration under the supervision of a Project Construction Leader
