Larson Design Group is seeking an entry-level Engineering Associate to support federal projects and gain hands-on experience alongside licensed engineers. You will work on infrastructure programs serving national priorities and participate in design validation, documentation, and compliance tasks.

This role accelerates growth toward a Professional Engineer (PE) license, with exposure to federal standards and multidisciplinary teams.

Formación

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Internships in the A/E industry preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares and reviews design computations, plan sets, and drawings per federal standards (USACE, NAVFAC, FHWA).
• Assists with development and coordination of submittals for federal agencies with contract compliance.
• Prepares technical specs, reports, and correspondence aligned with project documentation standards.
• Performs site visits and field investigations to support design validation and construction progress.
• Maintains project documentation in compliance with federal record-keeping standards.
• Applies codes and criteria for federal and civil infrastructure projects.
• Supports QA/QC processes to ensure deliverable quality and consistency.
• Assists in managing tasks within scope, schedule, and budget.
