DLZ Corporation in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer to support stormwater, water, and wastewater site design projects. This role emphasizes mentoring and progressive responsibility on a variety of assignments.

Ideal candidates will have a Civil Engineering degree, 0–2 years of experience, and hands-on experience with AutoCAD and MicroStation. Safety, collaboration, and clear communication are valued as you contribute to community infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 0-2 years relevant Engineering experience.
• Registered EI pursuing PE preferred.
• AutoCAD and MicroStation experience required.
• Civil 3D experience a plus.
• CESSWI certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to visit and safely traverse construction and project sites and complying with all applicable safety codes and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform stormwater / water / wastewater site civil construction and design assignments, requiring a solid grasp of engineering discipline and the exercise of professional judgment.
• Typically given projects of minor to moderate complexity; may have leadership responsibility for less experienced staff. With close supervision, leadership levels can increase incomplexity as more experience is gained.
• Perform work under supervision or provide support to more experienced personnel.
• Perform analyses and design required for various stormwater / water / wastewater projects.
• Prepare sketches and diagrams for use by technicians. Review and check detailed drawings and layouts.
• Assist in the preparation of reports, economic and technical feasibility studies, and studies aimed at evaluating alternative systems, equipment, materials or engineering methods.
• Assist in the preparation of contract / proposals specifications and construction cost estimates.
• Review Contractor's shop drawing submittals.
• Perform construction monitoring and coordinate field activities.
• Perform all work in a safe and responsible manner, in accordance with the Health and Safety Plan.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
