Job summary

Kimley-Horn in Saint Paul, MN is seeking an Entry-Level CAD Design Technician to join our Land Development team on-site. You will draft site plans and construction drawings using AutoCAD or Bentley tools, while learning Kimley-Horn standards and procedures.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (associates preferred), 0–3 years of drafting experience, and are detail-oriented team players with strong communication.

Qualifications

Overview

Kimley-Horn is looking for an Entry-Level CAD Design Technician to join our Land Development team in Saint Paul, Minnesota (MN)! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

• The person in this position will use basic computer drafting software to generate site plans and construction drawings for Kimley-Hornprojects
• Designing and producing sets of plans; implementing and managing AutoCAD drafting and plan preparation standards
• Assists in maintaining drawing database
• Performs routine analysis to check accuracy of data
• Develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn’s practices, procedures, and standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree preferred)
• 0 to 3 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley products preferred
• Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter
• Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learn
• Ability to work independently and with a team

Salary Range: $62,000 - $70,000
