Heartland ABA is hiring an entry-level Child Autism Support Professional to provide one-on-one ABA services in clients' homes or community locations in Clarinda, IA. This part-time role starts with a commitment of 6 months and offers hands-on experience in the ABA field under supervision.

You will apply evidence-based approaches to support independence and positive behavior, record session data, and collaborate with a clinical team to implement care plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• RBT certification is required before working.
• Willingness to learn and passionate about making a difference for children with Autism.
• Patience, compassion, and the ability to maintain a calm demeanor in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients, using evidence-based interventions supporting independence and positive behavior.
• Serve as an integral member of our clinical team, responsible for the direct implementation of skill-building and care plans.
• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment for clients and connect with families.
