Job summary

Eurofins BPT-Columbia is seeking an Entry Level Chemist (Associate Scientist) to join the Trace Analytical Structural Chemistry team in Columbia, MO. This full-time role involves performing prescribed laboratory work under procedures, with emphasis on documenting results and contributing to studies in a regulated environment.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field and has some lab experience, plus familiarity with analytical equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering or related field required.
• Experience with GLP/GMP is advantageous but not required for all roles.
• Familiarity with analytical instruments and good documentation practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical work using HPLC/GC and related techniques.

Eurofins BPT-Columbiais looking for anEntry Level Chemist(Associate Scientist)to join our TASC (Trace Analytical Structural Chemistry) team located in Columbia, Missouri. The Associate Scientist position is an entry-level professional position involved in somewhat complex day-to-day activities in a laboratory setting under prescribed processes (protocols, standard operating procedures, methods, etc.). Responsibilities include completing work for research and development under cGMP and/or GLP guidelines for studies, documentation, etc. Providing somewhat complex analytical work on projects and studies using a range of analytical techniques and instruments. Working with increasing independence on studies and assignments.

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Experience with HPLC and/or GC.
• Familiarity and/or experience in a laboratory setting is required.
• Good organizational skills; ability to follow direction and good communication skills are required.
• Experience with GLP/GMP andLIMS would be a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or other directly related field or degree with comparable coursework in the above areas is required.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Position is full‑time, working Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm., plus any additional hours as needed. Candidates currentlyliving within commutable distance to Columbia, MOare encouraged to apply.
