Job summary

Armstrong World Industries is offering an engineering development program for entry-level process engineers. You will join a cross-disciplinary team handling raw materials, process control, product quality, and environmental compliance, with opportunities to lead and participate in multiple technical and manufacturing disciplines.

The program includes dedicated training, career-path exploration within and outside engineering, and a focus on sustainability initiatives, with potential transition

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, materials science or related degree.
• Must be graduating in Dec 2026 or May 2027.
• Unlimited authorization to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Material substitutions in coatings and board formulations.
• Troubleshooting production problems.
• Establishing equipment Standard Operating Procedures.
• Running plant tests to develop new products.
• Modification of formulations and process settings to increase capacity.
• Projects to improve product quality
