Job summary

Jacobs in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Entry Level Chemical Engineer to support process design and data gathering on industrial projects. You’ll work under mentorship on multi-discipline teams and gain familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget and schedule.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field, Excel skills, and authorization to work in the United States. Preferred EIT, strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, or closely related field.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship (sponsorship will not be available for this role now or in the future)

Responsibilities

• Establish chemical process design basis and develop process options.
• Optimize selected design and calculate data for process flow sheets.
• Manage schedule and ensure technical quality of engineering tasks.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams under mentorship.
