Entry Level CDL-A Regional Driver - Paid Training
Job Type: Driving
Your CDL-A Is Earned. Now Build the Experience Behind It.
This regional dry van position is designed for newer CDL-A drivers who have completed an accredited truck driving program and are ready to begin working toward a solo driving career.
Instead of being sent directly into a truck on your own, you'll start with structured paid road training before moving into a permanently assigned tractor and regular regional operation.
Training runs approximately 3-5 weeks and includes 200-250 hours behind the wheel with an experienced driver. Trainee pay is determined by your hiring area.
Orientation is no more than two days, with a $300 orientation payment paid upon hire. After completing the training process, you'll transition into the regional driving position.
The operation moves dry van freight primarily across Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. Freight includes drop-and-hook moves, preloaded trailers, and live loads and unloads.
This is a working regional schedule, so drivers need to be comfortable operating during the day or at night and working weekends when freight demands it.
Drivers receive regular 34-hour resets with weekend home time. That gives a newer CDL-A driver the opportunity to build consistent regional experience without immediately committing to weeks at a time on traditional long-haul OTR routes.
