Job summary

EliteHosts in Washington, USA seeks a motivated Junior Carpenter to assist with construction and repair of structures and fixtures. No prior experience or English language required, making it ideal for newcomers to carpentry.

You will measure, cut, erect scaffolding, install windows frames, floors and trim, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with the team. The role is full-time with on-the-job training and supplied tools, and accommodation is not provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools is a plus but not mandatory.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with measuring and cutting materials according to specifications.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures.
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows frames floors and trim.
• Repair or replace damaged framework or other structures.
• Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently.
