Huseby Homes in Nashville, TN is seeking a Carpenter Trainee to learn residential carpentry under a Master Carpenter and experienced crews on a full-time, onsite basis. You will gain hands-on experience across demolition, framing, rough and finish carpentry, and general construction tasks.

What You'll Do

As a Carpenter Trainee, you'll work alongside our Master Carpenter, Lead Carpenters, and experienced craftsmen while learning every stage of residential construction.

Our Hiring Process

We believe the best way to evaluate future carpenters is through hands-on work.

Final candidates will complete a practical skills assessment, which may include working alongside one of our crews for part of a day.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: $18-$26 per hour, depending on experience, skill level, and demonstrated ability. As your skills grow, you'll have opportunities to advance into higher-level carpenter positions with increased compensation.
