Job summary

Ascend Wellness Holdings (AWH) seeks a Lab Technician to support cannabis extraction, post-processing, and analytical testing in our Massachusetts site. You will follow SOPs, health and safety protocols, and regulatory requirements while handling lab equipment and record-keeping.

Responsibilities include sampling, documentation, equipment maintenance, and contributing to quality control initiatives. The position reports to the Extraction Lab Manager and operates Tue-Fri, 6:30am–5pm, with a pay

Qualifications

Basic math, communication, and data entry skills.
Familiarity with lab best practices and regulatory compliance.
Strong attention to detail with troubleshooting and documentation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

Operate extraction and post-processing equipment following safety standards.
Assist in preparation, sampling, and documentation of analytical testing.
Maintain detailed records per seed-to-sale tracking requirements.
Perform routine cleaning, sanitization, and equipment maintenance to ensure lab readiness.
Support lab leadership in quality control and process improvements.
Participate in state inspections and internal audits as needed.
Adhere to safety protocols, PPE use, and chemical handling.
Report issues to management; assist with R&D trials and formulations.
