Job summary

Delta 3 Engineering, Inc. is seeking an entry-level CAD Drafter to join our Civil/Municipal Engineering team. The role involves assisting with site development plans, roadways, utilities, and infrastructure projects using Civil 3D and AutoCAD.

The successful candidate will have experience with Civil 3D and Office products, strong communication, and the ability to work independently in a team setting. Salary is dependent upon qualifications, and we offer a full-benefit package.

Qualifications

• Experience with modeling concepts, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to work independently.
• Ability to interpret national and local codes and standards to ensure compliance.
• Must be team-oriented and capable of working with other staff members.
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record acceptable to our company’s insurance provider.

Responsibilities

• Draft construction documents and exhibits in Civil 3D.
• Create alignments, profiles, and cross sections.

The Civil/Municipal CAD Drafter supports the design and preparation of plans for site development, grading, utilities, roadways, and other civil infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include drafting construction documents and exhibits in Civil 3D; creating alignments, profiles, and cross sections; and assisting with quantity takeoffs and plan revisions. The position requires close coordination with engineers and survey teams to ensure accurate, high-quality deliverables that meet project specifications. Knowledge in Civil 3D and an understanding of civil engineering principles are preferred.
