Job summary

ICC NTA LLC Conway, Arkansas is seeking an entry-level Building Auditor to support building inspections and quality audits. The role requires readiness to travel within the Arkansas region and to complete required ICC exams to obtain core certifications.

You will perform in-plant and on-site audits, sample products, and report findings to the Regional Inspection Manager while developing inspection skills toward ICC credentials.

Qualifications

• Must pass ICC Residential examinations in Building, Electrical, Mechanical and Plumbing within 12 months of employment.
• Must complete CEU training as required to maintain licenses and certifications.
• Ability to physically travel to the client facility or worksite via airplane or by driving an automobile.
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Two years’ experience working in building construction, building code enforcement or performing quality assurance audits.
• Valid Driver’s License is required
• Some overnight travel is required

Responsibilities

• Perform regularly scheduled in plant audits as requested by the Regional Inspection Manager.
• Perform on-site scheduled audits as requested by Regional Inspection Manager.
• Perform product sampling as requested by Regional Inspection Manager
• Continually monitor the client’s implementation of approved quality systems.
• Continually evaluate and communicate the status of each client’s quality system to the Regional Inspection Manager.
• All inspection reports will be sent to the Regional Inspection Manager for review by the end of each month.
• Establish excellent relationships with States and HUD to ensure we are respected as a leader and partner
• Ensure all applicable ICC NTA procedures are consistently followed in the execution of inspection jobs.
• Continually identify, recommend, and pursue opportunities for process improvements within the Department and ICC NTA.
