Job summary

WGI is seeking an entry-level Engineer I (Transportation - Bridges) to support design development, calculations, and documentation across Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, or Raleigh projects. You will work under supervision with project managers and senior engineers to learn and contribute to bridge design, inspections, and data collection.

Ideal candidates have a civil engineering background and an EIT candidacy, with 0–4 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or related engineering field.
• 0-4 years of relevant experience.
• EIT certification or intent to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Support design development, calculations, documentation, and production tasks.
• Participate in team meetings and project coordination.
• Communicate progress and seek guidance within the team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project delivery.
• Assist with bridge plans, drawings, and annotations using CAD.
• Perform bridge inspections and data collection.
