Mead & Hunt, a national professional services firm, seeks an Entry Level Bridge/Structural Engineer for the Lexington, SC Transportation Team. You will assist in preparing plans, specs, and cost estimates for bridge projects.

The ideal candidate has a civil/structural engineering degree with EIT preferred, knowledge of MicroStation and MS Office, and strong communication skills. This employee-owned firm offers flexibility and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering from ABET-accredited college.
• EIT is preferred.
• Experience or coursework in transportation/bridge projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop plans, specifications, and cost estimates for bridge projects.
• Contribute to the preparation of design reports.
• Perform geometric design and related engineering tasks for bridge projects.
• Conduct load rating analyses for bridges and culverts to evaluate structural integrity.
