SENTINEL GROUP LLC is seeking an Entry-Level Cybersecurity Blue Team Analyst in Chantilly, VA. The role supports offensive and defensive cyber operations, vulnerability identification, security monitoring, and incident response across enterprise IT environments.

Qualifications include 1–3 years in cybersecurity, working knowledge of Windows/Linux, and familiarity with SIEM and vulnerability tools. Top Secret clearance is required; counterintelligence polygraph is desired.

Qualifications

1–3 years of cybersecurity experience in IA, SYSADMIN, or related field.
Experience with Windows, Linux, networks, virtualization, cloud, and IAM.
Ability to analyze configurations, logs, and security events.
Familiarity with SIEM, vulnerability scanning, and endpoint/security tools.
Knowledge of NIST CSF and SP 800-53.
Top Secret clearance; counterintelligence polygraph desired.

Responsibilities

Conduct cybersecurity assessments of enterprise IT systems and networks to identify vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
Review system configurations, security controls, logs, alerts, and vulnerability reports.
Support remediation activities and validate corrective actions.
Analyze security events from SIEM, endpoints, networks, and cloud environments.
Assist with security-control assessments and evidence collection.
Document findings, risk observations, and remediation actions.
Develop assessment reports, dashboards, and technical artifacts.
Stay updated on emerging threats and defensive practices.
