Actalent is seeking an Entry Level Biomedical Engineering Intern in Mountain Top, PA. This contract role focuses on hands-on experience in data entry, documentation management, quotation preparation, order processing, and customer service within the medical equipment field.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate equipment, customer, vendor, and service records.
  • Coordinate with sales reps, service technicians, and vendors for timely order fulfillment.
  • Support data entry and documentation management activities to keep records organized and easily accessible.
  • Assist with customer service by responding to inquiries and providing status updates on quotes, orders, and services.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to resolve issues related to orders, documentation, and customer requirements.

Job Title: Entry Level Biomedical Engineering Intern

This entry-level Engineering Administrator role offers a valuable opportunity for a recent biomedical engineering student or current engineering student to gain hands‑on experience in data entry, documentation management, quotation preparation, order processing, and customer service within the medical equipment field. You will support day‑to‑day operations by managing accurate records, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment, building a strong foundation for your long‑term engineering career.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process customer quotations for medical equipment, repairs, maintenance services, and rentals.
  • Enter and manage customer orders accurately within internal systems.
  • Review purchase orders and verify pricing, product information, and customer requirements for completeness and accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date equipment, customer, vendor, and service records.
  • Coordinate with sales representatives, service technicians, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Support data entry and documentation management activities to keep records organized and easily accessible.
  • Assist with customer service by responding to inquiries and providing status updates on quotes, orders, and services.

Essential Skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Mountain Top, PA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
