3D Systems Corporation in Littleton, CO is seeking an entry-level Biomedical Engineer for the Virtual Surgical Planning department. You will analyze medical imaging, simulate procedures, design patient-specific models and surgical guides, and operate advanced 3D printing to create precision medical devices in a fast-paced trauma setting.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with surgeons and clinical teams.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate directly with surgeons and clinical teams to develop personalized surgical plans that address each patient's anatomical challenges.
• Analyze and interpret medical imaging (CT/MRI in DICOM format) to identify structures and plan trauma procedures.
• Design patient-specific anatomical models, surgical guides, and devices using CAD/3D design software.
• Manage end-to-end 3D printing operations including build prep, machine operation, and post-processing.
• Conduct quality assurance by inspecting finished guides and devices and ensuring clinical readiness.
• Coordinate documentation in compliance with Quality Management Systems while juggling multiple priorities.
• Deliver rapid-response solutions for time-sensitive trauma cases and evolving clinical requirements.
