Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Columbia, MO is hiring an Entry Level/Associate Scientist for our Biochemistry team. The role supports day-to-day laboratory activities under CGMP and GLP guidelines, conducting studies and documenting data with accuracy and timeliness.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or related field and hands-on lab experience, including proficiency with analytical techniques such as HPLC and GC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or related field.
• Authorization to work in the US indefinitely without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analytical tasks under CGMP/GLP guidelines.
• Report data in a timely manner per regulatory guidelines.
• Assist in conducting studies and monitoring study procedures to ensure data accuracy and report quality.
• Provide basic analytical work on projects and studies as assigned.

Job Description

Eurofins BPT-Columbiais looking for anEntry Level/Associate Scientisttojoin our Biochemistry team located in Columbia, Missouri. The Associate Scientist position is an entry-level professional position involved in day-to-day activities in a laboratory setting under prescribed procedures (protocols, standard operating procedures, methods, etc.) Completes work for research and development under CGMP and/or GLP guidelines for studies, documentation, etc. Reports data in a timely manner according to regulatory guidelines and other governing rules or regulations. Assists in conducting studies and monitoring study procedures to ensure data accuracy and report quality. Provides basic analytical work on projects and studies as assigned.

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Experience with GLP and/or GMP and hands-on experience with HPLC and/or GC.
• Experience with LIMS system desirable.
• Familiarity and/or experience in a laboratory setting is required.
• Good organizational skills; ability to follow direction and good communication skills are required.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as chemistry, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or other directly related field or degree with comparable coursework in the above areas.
• Authorization to work in the US indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Experience with GLP and/or GMP and hands-on experience with HPLC and/or GC.
• Experience with LIMS system desirable.
• Familiarity and/or experience in a laboratory setting is required.
