Job summary

Lamons in Houston, TX is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to design, develop, and maintain BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that support operational and strategic decision‑making. You will partner with business leaders to gather requirements, develop SQL‑based solutions, and deliver timely analytics through Tableau and other BI tools.

This role involves data modeling, data integrity, and exploring AI‑enabled analytics.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
Recent graduates encouraged to apply.
Preferred coursework in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Data Visualization.

Responsibilities

Meet with business leaders to gather, analyze, and document reporting and dashboard requirements.
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau.
Develop SQL queries to retrieve, analyze, and prepare data for reports, dashboards, and BI solutions.
Develop and maintain data models including fact and dimension tables and star schema designs.
Validate data accuracy and ensure consistency across reports and source systems.
Develop and maintain standardized reports and dashboards for cross‑departmental use.
Translate business requirements into scalable reporting solutions for operational and financial insights.
Collaborate with business leaders to understand reporting needs and BI solutions.
Develop executive, operational, and departmental KPI dashboards for performance monitoring.
