Job summary

SupportFinity™ is hiring a part-time Behavior Technician in California to assist children with autism. This role includes providing ABA therapy and tracking client progress. Strong communication skills and a passion for helping children are essential.

As a Behavior Technician, you’ll work one‑on‑one with children, helping them build communication, social, and problem‑solving skills using evidence‑based ABA techniques.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in our centers or in home‑based settings
  • Reinforce positive behaviors using techniques from our industry‑leading training program
  • Track client progress using a company‑issued iPad and data systems
  • Collaborate with families and supervisors to support each child’s growth

Schedule & Hours

This is a part‑time role, starting at approximately 15 hours per week, with opportunities to build additional hours based on availability and business needs.

Available Schedule Options Include
  • Monday‑Friday 8am‑7pm + Saturday 8am‑5:30pm – opportunity to build up to 20+ hours/week
  • Monday–Friday 2pm‑8pm + Saturday 9:00am‑1:00pm – opportunity to work up to 20 hours/week
  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday 2:00pm‑8:00pm + Saturday 9:00am‑1:00pm – opportunity to work 15+ hours/week
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children
  • Strong communication skills with both children and caregivers
  • Sound judgment in dynamic situations
  • A desire for a meaningful, hands‑on career

Experience working with children is a plus, including backgrounds such as camp counselor, nanny, preschool teacher, paraprofessional, teacher’s aide, or childcare volunteer—but all applicants are welcome.

What You’ll Need
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Enrolled or completed one college course (Trade/Tech School is applicable)
  • A passion for supporting children and families impacted by autism
  • Comfort using tablet‑based technology
  • Reliable transportation, in‑state valid driver’s license, and active car insurance
  • Availability during times most needed by families
  • Commitment to completing our paid virtual RBT training program
Physical Requirements
  • Direct work with clients may include, without limitation, the following physical demands: sitting, kneeling, squatting, running, twisting and turning, reaching above shoulders and/or frequent physical transitions.
