Description

Pay Range: $21 - $28 /hour for clinical work* (based on experience)

What you’ll do as a Behavior Technician:
  • Work one-on-one with children with autism in centers or home-based settings.
  • Reinforce positive behaviors using therapeutic techniques learned in our industry-leading training program.
  • Track client progress and growth by maintaining electronic health data on a company-provided iPad.

Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others.
  • Good judgment in responding to common client situations.
  • Effective and compassionate communication skills with children and caregivers.
  • Experience as a camp counselor, nanny, preschool teacher, paraprofessional, teacher's aide, or childcare volunteer is a plus. All applicants are welcome!
What you need:
  • A passion for making a difference in the lives of children and families impacted by autism.
  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Willingness to learn and comfort with tablet technology.
  • Reliable transportation for commuting to various locations.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate client needs; we aim to work with your availability.

*The pay scale provided is the hourly wage range ACES expects to pay for clinical work (direct treatment services). Non-clinical work (training, travel, meetings, etc.) is paid at $16.50/hour.
