What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Behavior Technician, you will provide direct, 1:1 behavioral support to children with autism or other disabilities in their homes. Your role will involve implementing individualized behavioral programs, collecting data on client progress, and working closely with families to ensure a positive and supportive environment. This is a fantastic entry-level position for anyone interested in psychology, education, social work, therapy, or special education. You'll be making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver 1:1 behavior programs in clients' homes (training provided)
  2. Engage with children in a fun and energetic way to support learning and development
  3. Collect accurate data on client progress
  4. Collaborate with families to provide a safe, supportive environment
  5. Participate in team meetings and receive ongoing training and mentorship

Qualifications:

  1. Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for working with children
  2. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
  3. Reliability and a willingness to work with a variety of clients
  4. Experience with children or individuals with disabilities is a plus, but not required
  5. Behavioral knowledge/experience is preferred, but not necessary
  6. RBT certification is a plus, but we will cover the cost of obtaining it!
  7. Spanish-speaking is a plus
  8. Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation
  9. High school diploma or equivalent required

Requirements:

  1. Availability to work a consistent schedule (afternoons/evenings with some weekend/morning availability)
  2. Eligibility to work in the U.S.
  3. Must have reliable transportation, valid auto insurance, and driver’s license
  4. Able to pass a Live Scan FBI & DOJ Clearance
  5. Able to obtain a Physical (past year) and TB Test (past 90 days)
  6. Able to submit a CPR/First Aid Certificate
