Job summary

TEL Staffing & HR is seeking an entry-level avionics/electrical assistant to support removal/installation of avionics components and wire harness fabrication. You will follow blueprints and engineering drawings, assist with ring-out and functional tests, and ensure timely completion of tasks in a regulated shop environment.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, plus six months of accredited schooling in aviation electronics or electrical experience; candidate must read blueprints

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; entry level position.
• Six months accredited schooling in aviation electronics or electrical experience preferred.
• General knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
• Must know how to use a multimeter.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installations, modifications and wiring fabrication per drawings.
• Complete tasks within allotted time frame.
• Maintain required logs and records.
• Adhere to FOD, tool control, 5-S and safety regulations.
