Job summary

MGA Research Corporation in Lincoln, Alabama is seeking an entry-level Test Engineer to support our automotive test lab. You will execute tests such as vehicle crash, sled, airbag, or other components, and report results to the team.

You will plan and coordinate projects and test processes, provide both physical and technical support, and help grow MGA's testing services in the Southeast while developing calibration and data-collection procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering is required.
• Ability to plan, coordinate and manage tests and projects in a dynamic lab.
• Interest in automotive testing processes pre- and post-production.

Responsibilities

• Execute vehicle crash, sled, airbag, or other component tests and report results.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage projects and test processes to ensure high quality.
• Provide physical and technical support for daily testing activities.
• Engage with customers and support business growth in the Southeast.
• Oversee daily operations including technical guidance for team members.
• Develop and continuously improve testing procedures.
• Prepare, check, and file calibration reports and maintain equipment database
• Provide updates to management on project progress
• Assist with general business and engineering sales
