Job summary

Goodyear is seeking an Entry Level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience in one of our Auto Service centers by learning how to perform basic automotive services while delivering outstanding service. You will be trained in any skills required and encouraged to contribute to the success of the team.

Starting in a fast-paced, safety‑conscious environment, you will learn to mount/balance tires, perform oil changes, and conduct preventative maintenance alongside seasoned technicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver''s license and be at least 18 years old.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic automotive services such as mounting and balancing tires, oil changes, and filters replacements.
• Train with mid and senior technicians to learn additional automotive services.
• Demonstrate excellent guest service, including clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.
• Promote teamwork to deliver on guest expectations.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety policies and procedures.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting tires and wheels.

Shift Information: Depending on location, our stores may be open 7 days a week, which may include weekends and some holidays.
