Don Ayres Honda is seeking a dependable Service Porter to support a high-volume service department, handling 150+ vehicles daily and ensuring a smooth service lane flow.

No prior automotive experience required; a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn are essential. The role offers opportunities to grow within the dealership and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver9s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong work ethic and sense of urgency.
• Positive attitude and team-first mindset.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Basic computer/technology skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and stay active throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with service lane flow.
• Move, stage, and park vehicles in a high-volume environment (150+ vehicles daily).
• Keep service lanes organized and traffic flowing smoothly.
• Transport vehicles to and from technician bays safely and efficiently.
• Perform basic vehicle tasks such as battery testing and documentation, tire pressure checks and adjustments, and install service tags.
• Wash, vacuum, and clean vehicles as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized service drive and customer area.
• Communicate with Service Advisors on arrivals and vehicle status.
• Assist customers with basic questions and directions.
• Support the team with additional duties as needed.
