Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Firestone Complete Auto Care team in a fast-paced service environment. This entry-level role supports the service lane, diagnosing and repairing basic automotive systems while gaining hands-on experience.

Qualifications

  • Must have valid driver’s license at all times to operate customer and company vehicles.
  • Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
  • Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
  • Reading, writing, and math skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems (brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, electrical).
  • Perform oil changes and scheduled maintenance services.
  • Install and perform tire maintenance.
  • Install batteries and shock absorbers; check electrical systems.
  • Road test vehicles to verify repairs and maintenance.
