Job summary

Sullivan Tire is hiring an Entry Level Technician to perform entry-level vehicle maintenance and tire services while delivering quality and customer satisfaction. Work with store management to ensure productivity and profitability, and adhere to internal controls.

Responsibilities include mounting and balancing tires, performing lube/oil/filter changes, documenting safety inspections, basic repairs, and maintaining a neat work area. Teamwork and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Customer service focus in a retail environment.
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs.
• Basic conflict resolution skills.
• Basic understanding of the automotive tire and auto service industry.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance and repair tires on passenger and light trucks.
• Perform lube/oil/filter changes on domestic and foreign cars.
• Perform and document vehicle safety inspections.
• Carry out unsupervised vehicle maintenance repairs (headlights, belts, batteries, wiper blades).
• Collaborate with store management to meet productivity and customer satisfaction standards.
• Adhere to internal controls, policies and procedures.
• Maintain a neat, clean work area and dispose of waste properly.
• Assume other responsibilities as needed.
