Goodyear is hiring an entry-level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience in our Auto Service centers. You will learn basic services while delivering outstanding guest service.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years old.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions.
• Commitment to learning new technologies within the automotive industry.
• Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience or formal automotive training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic automotive services like mounting and balancing tires, oil changes, filters replacements, and related maintenance.
• Train with mid and senior level technicians to learn additional services.
• Provide excellent guest service with clear communication and vehicle feedback.
• Promote teamwork to meet guest expectations.
• Maintain adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting, standing, bending, and squatting.
