Many technicians advance to Lead Technician, Master Technician, Shop Foreman, and Service Management positions.

Qualifications

• Experience performing oil and filter changes.
• Experience performing tire rotations, repairs or replacements.
• Battery testing and replacement experience.
• Familiarity with multi-point inspections and reporting findings.
• Commitment to following safety procedures and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Oil and filter changes
• Tire rotations, repairs, and replacements
• Battery testing and replacement
• Fluid checks and top-offs (coolant, brake, transmission, etc.)
• Conduct multi-point inspections and report findings to service advisors
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service bay and work area
• Adhere to all safety procedures and company standards
• Use proper tools and equipment to perform services efficiently and correctly
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and team members
• Follow company training plans to build skills and pursue ASE certifications
• Assist technicians and other team members as needed
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the dealership in a professional manner
