Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is hiring General Service Technicians in Lincoln, Nebraska. No prior experience required as we train you on the job while you’re paid. Responsibilities include basic vehicle maintenance, tire services, and customer assistance.

The role supports a fast-growing service network with opportunities to advance within the company. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with a full benefits package and a path toward ASE certification.

Qualifications

• General understanding of under the hood, mechanical and under carriage assemblies.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services.
• Documents vehicle condition using Multi-point Inspection/Repair Order.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop, service area, tire racks, showroom and outdoor areas.
• Drives customers and transports parts using the company vehicle.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisor.
• Works flexible schedules, including Saturdays.
• Adheres to Sun Auto's core values and company policies.
