Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales and service objectives.

The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers. The position can be part-time or full-time, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service, handling inventory, and performing DIY services such as battery installation and wiper replacements.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Basic automotive part and system knowledge.
• Ability to use store systems and POS.
• Knowledge of inventory processes and order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and support store sales goals.
• Provide DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.).
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes (stocking, cycle counts, back stock, etc.).
