Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations is seeking a Maintenance Technician as an entry-level role within Firestone Complete Auto Care. You’ll be part of a collaborative team servicing vehicles, with opportunities for full- and part-time benefits from day one, including a tool program discount.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing basic automotive systems, performing oil changes and tire maintenance, and driving customer and company vehicles as needed. Competitive pay range is listed.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver’s license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
