ENC - ElDorado National California Inc. is seeking an entry‑level General Assembly Technician I in Riverside, CA to support vehicle assembly under close supervision, learn basic manufacturing processes, and follow established work instructions and safety rules.

The role focuses on basic mechanical tasks, using hand and power tools, assisting with wiring and subassemblies, and helping the team meet daily production goals in a clean, safe 5S environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in manufacturing, assembly, or a hands-on environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn assembly processes.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and basic power tools with instruction.
• Ability to read and follow basic drawings or work instructions with support.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
• Reliable attendance and a strong focus on safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical assembly tasks such as fastening components, installing brackets, and assisting with subassemblies
• Use hand tools and basic power tools under guidance and supervision
• Assist with electrical work including wire routing, labeling, and preparation for termination
• Support body and interior assembly activities such as panel installation, surface prep, sealing, and material handling
• Follow work instructions, drawings, and verbal direction to complete assigned tasks
• Conduct self-checks of completed work to ensure it meets basic quality expectations
• Complete required production checklists, logs, and documentation accurately
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with safety and 5S standards
• Escalate issues related to quality, fitment, safety, or unclear instructions to the supervisor or lead technician
• Learn and develop skills to meet expected takt time and productivity standards
