Job summary

OPW is seeking an entry-level Support 1 to assist on the manufacturing floor at our Ohio facility. The role involves operating and maintaining assembly line equipment, moving materials, and supporting quality checks as products move through the line.

As an entry-level position, no prior experience is required. You will work under supervision and follow standard procedures while contributing to daily production records and performance analysis.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position requiring little to no prior knowledge or experience.
• Responsibilities include setting up, operating, and maintaining assembly line machinery.
• Watching output quality and identifying defective products.
• Maintaining accurate daily production records for performance analysis.
• Work involves routine tasks following standard procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery/equipment to install a piece/part/component of an in-process product, assembly, or sub-assembly as it moves along the assembly line.
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods.
• Monitor the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products.
• Maintain accurate daily assembly production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis.
• Work is routine or follows standard procedures.
• Work is closely supervised.
• Communicates information that requires little explanation or interpretation.
