Job summary

SPX Technologies is hiring in Missouri for an assembler who will work at bench or shop floor assembling metal components. You will position parts, fasten with bolts or screws, and operate drills and wrenches to produce a unit that passes final inspection.

You may perform other duties as assigned to support production goals. The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or related experience), basic math, and the ability to read simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read simple instructions, write simple correspondence, and present information clearly.
  • Basic arithmetic with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

  • Positions parts according to unit being assembled or documented instructions.
  • Fastens parts with bolts, screws, or fasteners.
  • Operates drills, hand/air impact wrenches, and hand tools.
  • Produces a completed unit capable of passing final inspection.

JOB SUMMARY

Assembles metal products partially or completely, working at bench or on shop floor by performing the following duties.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or Controlled documents.
  • Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, or other fasteners.
  • Operates drills, hand/air impact wrenches, and hand tools.
  • Produces a completed unit capable of passing final inspection.
  • Other duties as assigned.
