Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Assembler/Material Handler in Independence, KY to perform mechanical assembly, labeling, and reporting of tasks with close supervision. You will use hand tools, scanners, and standard work instructions to ensure precise assembly in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment.

The role requires basic tool use, ability to lift up to 35 lbs, and adherence to safety and security procedures.

Qualifications

Proficiency with assembly tasks.
Experience using hand tools.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

Follow detailed verbal or written instructions.
Perform basic, standardized, and repetitive mechanical assembly operations.
Manually assemble inserted components using visual aids, verifying specifications.
Inspect parts to ensure correct assembly.
Utilize scanners and hand tools for assembly tasks.
Accurately report assembly work.
Work under direct supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor or Line Manager.
Adhere to safety rules and regulations.
Comply with all procedures within the company security policy.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
