Job summary

Builders FirstSource in Florida is seeking an entry-level Assembler I to perform repetitive assembly operations to mass-produce products such as windows, doors, trusses, panels, or stairs. This role involves following specified procedures and working on an assembly line.

You will place parts, fasten components, cut items to spec, monitor equipment, and move between workstations as production needs change. No formal education required; prior carpentry helpful; safe work practices and PPE required.

Responsibilities

• Place parts in specified relationship to each other.
• Bolt, clip, screw, cement, or fasten parts together.
• Cut products to specific measurements.
• Remove defective products as needed.
• Tends machines to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line.
• Works at different workstations as production needs require.
• Works in environment where tasks change as varying models of product are produced.
• Other duties may be assigned.
