Job Summary

Work Location: On-site at our Display, Processing, and Networking Center of Excellence in Johnstown, PA

Standard working hours for our production staff are: Monday through Thursday from 6:00am-3:30pm, working Fridays 6:00am-2:30pm, with every other Friday off.

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible and accountable for producing quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget.
  • Follow written work instructions and maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures including those which govern the handling of materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment (WHMIS).
  • Properly use required PPE.
  • Perform entry-level assembly functions, which may include: prep, mechanical, harness, cable, printed circuit board sub-assemblies, spray application, and inspection, typically working from drawings within Production.
  • Perform simple assemblies and hardware installation screws, washers, nuts, and have a basic understanding of build documentation.
  • Perform pull-test and verify tooling, use torque tools, and interpret & assemble multiple units in dept. Basic troubleshooting.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures including those which govern the handling of materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment (WHMIS).
  • Must be able to access production tools (routers, parts list, work instructions, etc.) and be able to wire prep, auto bond, sleeving.
