Bartlett Tree Experts in Simsbury, CT is hiring an Arborist Ground Person for an entry-level, outdoors-focused role. You will join a tree care crew and gain practical field experience through hands-on training in arboriculture on commercial and residential properties.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training to safely perform all aspects of arboriculture.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Learn on-the-job to safely perform pruning, rigging, cabling, and removal of hazardous trees.
• Maintain and operate hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
• Assist Arborist Climbers and Crew Leaders on ground and aloft; drive, back up, dump, and park.
• Follow all safety rules and company safety policies.
