Job summary

Solitude Lake Management, a Rentokil family company, seeks an Aquatic Technician in Florida to support ponds, lakes, pools and water features. You will perform water quality testing, maintain equipment, and ensure safety for animals and staff while adhering to regulatory standards.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, with a related science degree preferred and 0–1 year environmental experience. Strong problem solving, teamwork and flexibility to respond to emergencies are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and water quality testing of aquatic facilities.
• Monitor and adjust water chemistry (pH, chlorine, alkalinity).
• Inspect and repair aquatic equipment such as pumps and filtration.
• Maintain records and certifications within required timelines.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure safety of staff and animals.
• Provide educational programs on aquatic conservation.
