Job summary

RTX is seeking an entry-level antenna engineer to contribute to antenna and radome design, collaboration across thermal, structural, mechanical, and systems teams, and collaboration with suppliers. The role emphasizes RF theory, EM principles, and simulation tools.

The position is onsite in the US and requires a DoD security clearance process. A bachelor's degree in EE/CE or related STEM field is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or STEM field.
  • Experience or coursework in RF and electromagnetic theory.
  • Proficiency with modeling & simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, FEKO, SENTRi and/or GRASP.

Responsibilities

  • Develop antenna or radome hardware requirements and designs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary engineering teams (thermal, structural, mechanical, systems).
  • Work with antenna manufacturing suppliers.
  • Perform antenna modeling and simulation on HPC resources.
  • Interpret simulation/measurement data to verify requirements.
